 Following a good deal of consultation with previous members, the Transport Working Group is being reformed. Although there are a number of transport groups and meetings in various localities across the county, it seems that a countywide meeting (perhaps 3 or 4 times a year) would be helpful to transport providers. It is intended that this Group should enable providers to informally discuss matters of mutual interest such as procurement of vehicles, volunteers and best practice. Any items which would benefit from airing at the Forum for Accessible Transport will be forwarded for inclusion on that agenda.
