Call For Evidence: SEEDA And The Regional Economic Strategy --- In recognition of the need to improve Parliamentary scrutiny of the regions, the Governance of Britain Green Paper (July 2007) proposed that the Government's regional policy be subject to increased Parliamentary scrutiny. The component within the Regional Economic Strategy of particular relevance to the Voluntary/Community Sector (VCS) is target 14, enabling more people to benefit from sustainability and reduce polarity across the region. RAISE is looking for membership comments as evidence to respond to this inquiry. Comments need to be received by the 13th April.
