Annual Conference and AGM 2009 – 8th October Guildford
---
The 2009 RAISE Annual Conference and AGM is being held at the Holiday Inn, Guildford on the 8th October. Following the recent turbulence suffered by the Voluntary/Community Sector in the form of the economic downturn, funding challenges and a changing local and regional governance landscape, the conference will provide an opportunity for us all to reflect on the last 12 months, take stock of the present and adapt accordingly to the future. RAISE will also be unveiling the results of our recent Hidden Asset survey which captured the economic and social value of the Sector.

The three conference workshops expand upon the challenges faced by many organisations in the Sector and will allow delegates to consider the ‘full value’ concept, measuring outcomes and outputs, and the impact and opportunities afforded by Public Law to organisations engaged in service delivery.
