The Sussex Community Foundation has a new small fund to distribute – the May Gurney Fund. It has £20,000 to give out to community based charities/organisations which help young people and the long-term unemployed and the difficult to employ get back into work through activities focused on: education, self help, health and well being and local environment issues.
The Fund will target smaller charities that demonstrate genuine local community engagement.
The Fund will make small grants up to a maximum of £5000 and will be distributed annually.
Deadline for applications is 25 January and you should use the usual Sussex Community Foundation
application form .
